Celebration at the British Consulate in Alexandria for the implementation of Junior Future Leaders International Scholarship Programme – Girard school was announced to be the first French school to join this programme: 29 October 2018

A celebration was held on 29th of October 2018, at the British Consulate in Alexandria with the presence of H.E. Ms. Wendy Freeman the Consul General of British Consulate, Mr. Karim Elsafty Regional Director – Middle East at International Academy /IARS & Ms. Sara Ibrahim programme manager in Egypt. This remarkable event was attended by Mrs. Mervat Barsoum Girard’s Deputy Principal, all Heads of the school Departments, the English staff, the parents of 68 students & many other schools. As it is the first year for the implementation of Junior Future Leaders International Scholarship Programme in Alexandria after its success for two years with two International schools in Cairo. This academic year 2018 « Girard » school was announced to be the first French school to join this programme with another International school in Alexandria.
The first meeting for the “Junior Future Leaders International Scholarship Programme” was held at our school on 8th of October 2018.
It was launched to support the strategic direction of the Egyptian Government in equipping future generations with leadership skills and impacting on the coming generations which are Egypt’s true assests.
Junior Future Leaders Programme focuses on teens and school students’ Character Building, Communication, Team Building, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking and Leadership Skills.
As Girard always keen on improving its students’ communication leadership in teamwork skills , It was chosen to be one of the two schools in Alexandria to participate in that course.
